Years ago, the NFL chose University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to host Super Bowl XLII.Since that announcement, the Phoenix Metro area tirelessly prepared for the monumental sports event. In the week leading up to the Super Bowl, Arizona transformed and become the celebrity hot spot.From the Par and Poker Celebrity Challenge, to P. Diddy's block party, 944 Super Village, all the way to the Playboy Party; celebrities were all enjoying the Super Bowl craze.

Over 90,000 visitors are expected to arrive in Arizona for Super Bowl XLIX.  We have the opportunity to showcase our region with outstanding hospitality and deliver the message that Arizona is the best place to visit, work and live!   We want to leave a lasting legacy with our guests who are staying in over 115 resorts and hotels and enjoying all of the wonderful venues and activities in the Valley of Sun.    All volunteers, hotel staff and partners assisting with our Super Bowl visitors will be focused on providing a warm, friendly and cordial welcome to our visitors.

Chase Field - Arizona Diamondbacks

From its signature swimming pool to its retractable roof, Chase Field has become one of the game's most recognizable landmarks. Since the air-conditioned facility first opened its doors to a regular-season game on March 31, 1998, nearly 17.5 million baseball fans have enjoyed the opportunity to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks without worrying about Phoenix's summer heat or monsoon storms

US Airways Center - Phoenix Suns

The US Airways Center completed a major $70 million expansion and improvement project in 2004. Gone is the block exterior, replaced with soaring glass walls. The outdoor ticket office is now enclosed inside the new 14,000 square foot Casino Arizona Pavilion, serving as a grand entrance highlighted by a 12 × 20 foot video wall. On the east side, the Coors Light Cold Zone is a flexible outdoor entertainment venue covered by a football field-length canopy featuring state-of-the-art sound and video projection systems, as well as the stylish Coors Light Cold Zone bar area and facilities that double as television studio facilities for Suns telecasts and a performance stage for music events.
